Evening tour of the Bernardinai Historical and Architectural Complex

Event time: 19:00-21:00

The Friars Minor (Franciscan Bernardines) invite Vilnius residents and visitors to stop by the Church of St. Francis of Assisi (Bernardines) in Vilnius and take a stroll through the monastery complex, where impressive new spaces have recently opened. We hope that a visit to the Bernardine complex—the best-preserved Gothic corner in Vilnius’s Old Town—will leave you with an unforgettable memory. During the tour, you will not only learn about the history of the Bernardines, which began in the mid-15th century, but you will also have the opportunity to see the renovated spaces of the old complex and feel the spirit of those times that has survived to this day. You will stroll through the corridors of the old monastery, descend into the church’s crypt, and climb the spiral staircases of the defensive towers to reach the attic. And there, we dare say, you’ll see the most impressive panorama of the church towers and rooftops in Vilnius’s Old Town! We cordially invite you to visit!

REGISTRATION IS NEEDED.
