Throughout the education, visitors learn about the history of the museum’s building, collection of works, and the inaugural exhibition “I look upon the landscape…” The exhibition showcases landscapes from various periods of Galdikas’ work – from the earliest, still striving to combine trends of realism, symbolism, and neo-romanticism – to the later, interwar reflections of various contemporary Western European influences.
In the experiential part of the education, accompanied by the meditative sounds of nature and the smells of the forest, the participants create their own individual emotional landscape – the tree of their soul.
