The most important elements of the permanent exhibition of Markučiai Manor are the authentic details of the old manor: a wooden dwelling house built in 1867, with a layout that has remained unchanged for more than 150 years, as well as interior elements from the late 19th century, such as furniture, crockery, books and works of art. It is one of the few Lithuanian manors whose furniture and household items were not scattered during the Second World War and post-war years. Markučiai Manor tells the story of Vilnius during the Russian Empire.
