Vaiva Grainytė’s radio play “From the Axis” is conceived as a driving lesson and is one of the artist’s earlier works in radio art. The creative team recorded the play while actually driving a car, aiming to reduce the theatricality typical of conventional acting styles and to avoid a sterile studio sound.
