Childhood photographs are an integral part of a family portrait. They capture the appearance of children: clothing, hairstyles, way of life, and leisure, as well as their unassuming mood and character. Children’s faces emit carelessness and curiosity. A piercing gaze of a child seems to penetrate the future viewer. Photography is the ideal medium to capture one’s life events and bring memories back to life.
