The educational exhibition of the Lithuanian Language Institute “Touch the Lithuanian language with your hands” playfully presents the most important achievements of Lithuanian studies and linguistics to Lithuanians and foreign guests, families, children and adults.
The exhibition also introduces the history of the Lithuanian language, promotes pride in the native language, reveals its uniqueness and place in the context of world languages, presents Lithuanian language for foreign guests.
The purpose of this exhibition is to convey the latest knowledge of the language through special toys and games, to educate on current issues of language use, to raise the prestige of the Lithuanian language, to encourage society to nurture, love and study the native language and to popularize the ideas of European multilingualism and cultural dialogue.
