The permanent exhibition of the Centre for Wooden Architecture invites visitors to experience wooden architecture with all their senses. The main protagonist of the story – wood – is presented as a work of nature, a building material and a means of expressing human creativity. Interactive exhibits and modern technologies allow you to learn about the wooden heritage and the subtleties of carpentry. The exhibition connects the past and the present, revealing the evolution of the wooden city and the ecological importance of wooden architecture, as well as presenting contemporary examples of wooden architecture from around the world.
